SkyBell HD Puts IFTTT Recipes in App

We’re excited to share that SkyBell HD is a part of a new feature that IFTTT is adding to their successful partner platform. It’s now even easier to connect SkyBell HD with the products and services connected to IFTTT.

Starting today, you can quickly and easily select from a pre-populated list of recipes that work with SkyBell HD – all from within the SkyBell HD app. It’s no longer necessary to create a recipe on the IFTTT website.

Linden Tibbets, CEO of IFTTT, highlights how this new integration will build on the success of IFTTT’s platform, “Partners who have integrated their service with IFTTT have already seen tremendous success. We are now thrilled to provide a more seamless experience for their users through embedding IFTTT functionality directly in their applications.”

Most Advanced Doorbell Integration

We’re proud to offer IFTTT users with an exclusive capability: the ability to send commands to SkyBell HD. No other video doorbell can do this! For example, you can tell Nest Protect to change SkyBell HD’s LED button to red when it detects carbon monoxide in the home – warning visitors that it’s not safe to enter.

SkyBell HD helps you make a safer and more secure home!

How to get started

In the SkyBell HD app, go to the Account page. Select the IFTTT Configure Button. You’ll then land on IFTTT’s page, where you’ll see SkyBell HD recipes.  Follow the IFTTT flow process from that point forward.

In order to use the new features, you’ll need to be logged into IFTTT. You’ll also need to have authenticated your SkyBell HD account with the other 3rd party products or services that you’d like to connect.

IFTTT empowers people to make connections between the many services and devices they use every day. We connect over 300 apps, services, and devices including Facebook, Twitter, Evernote, Gmail, Nest, Fitbit, and Slack. We call these Channels. IFTTT allows users to link these Channels together with simple and powerful “if this, then that” statements called Recipes.
